Step by Step Instructions for The DWC Drywall Repair Plug
A 1 gallon bucket: A clean bucket with water is important to keep the work area clean and make sure that texture doesn't dry on places you don't want textured.
An 8 inch straw whisk broom: This will be your main tool for applying the various spray textures needed to match the existing texture pattern.
A 6 to 12 inch drywall knife: The drywall knife is the easiest way to achieve the flatter type of textures known as knock-down, Spanish lace and skip trowel.
Newspaper and tape to protect non-texture areas: Texture can be messy. An area 1 foot across that needs texture requires masking 2 feet out all around.
