3.25 Inch Fire Rated Drywall Repair Plug - Commercial Sprinkler System - Also available with a single layer of drywall
Uses 2 layers of 5/8 inch Type X UL Rated Fire Rated Drywall. Because of design it's perfect for in-house drywall repair when upgrading older or outdated sprinkler systems. Simple 5 minute installation allows for immediate repair of 1 hour rated double layer hard drywall ceilings. Designed for hospitals, assisted living facilities, dorms and hotels. Also available with up to 3 layers for drywall repairs necessary when upgrading equipment in radio stations and other facilities requiring specialty drywall repair and a single layer for smoke walls or other small holes in 5/8 inch commercial applications. Requires backing to maintain fire code.
